Admiral Canaris demands information on the state of the Polish fleet and the deployment of the army in Oksywie. Counsellor Voraczek provides Relke with a list of potential informants. The choice falls on the railwayman Mamel, who has a friend in the Navy Staff. The observation of the railwayman conducted by the Germans allows Relke and Voraczek to determine that there has been a leak in their network. Mamel regularly visits the apartment of Ewa Leber, who works at the headquarters of the German command. The railwayman is undoubtedly the liaison between Ewa and the Polish intelligence, to whom she provides information from the command. Voraczek and his agents arrest Ewa and prepare an ambush for the railwayman. Mamel, detained by the Germans, agrees to cooperate with them. He is to continue to pretend to be the liaison of Ewa, who has been arrested in secret. Czarek receives a note from her asking for a quick meeting, but the lack of agreed-upon details on the note arouses his distrust. He goes to Królewiec, but orders the porter to go to Ewa’s apartment, who is happy to earn a few marks. Sam, in disguise, watches as Voracek’s agents lead his messenger away from Ewa. Double agent „Hubert” informs Czarek that Mamel works for the Germans and is closely guarded by their agents. In order to stop him, the Poles organize an elaborate action that ends successfully. News comes from Berlin that the arrested Georg has been sentenced to life in prison, while Benita and Renata – German citizens – have been sentenced to death.
