Jean-François – who has maintained contact with someone from Shédiac – knows from a reliable source that his father and brothers are on his trail. Informed of his situation, his controller (Chamberland) decrees that everything must be done to move him more or less quickly. Jean-François does not see how he will be able to reveal his true identity to Brigitte. When he realizes that his brothers are getting dangerously close, he must act. Will Chamberland be able to intervene in time? Will Jean-François be forced to confess and tell everything to Brigitte?
